I would really recommend to you to also get a hardware wallet, like Ledger Nano S. This will ensure that your cryptos are always safe and will let you sleep tight at times where there is FUD about exchanges getting hacked.
A hardware wallet was actually  the first thing I got before starting with cryptos and I have never regretted it.

On Youtube I would also recommend Data Dash. His analysis on the market is usually pretty spot on.

If you're not starting out with much capital, look into airdrops and possibly a bounty campaign.

My favorite trading platform is BitTrex, but I also use Poloniex and Cryptopia.

For keeping up with news in the cryptocurrency industry, I highly recommend DCEbrief.com and coindesk.com.

For education, DNotesEDU.com is pretty good.

As far as a general all purpose resource, you can't go wrong with CoinMarketcap.com. That's your one stop shop for finding out all the basic information and links for each coin that has active markets as well as a few that don't.

This site was quite helpful for me starting out. Users make predictions and you can see who tends to be the most accurate.

I would highly recommend adding DNotesEDU to your list. It is a site that focuses on both traditional financial education and cryptocurrency education. Although published by people working closely with the DNotes Coin, the site seeks to provide objective and accurate information. It has a lot of great resources.

As an aside, I also recommend the DNotes Coin project as a model project for comparing other cryptocurrency projects to, especially when considering whether or not to invest in an altcoin project. The DNotes project is impeccable in terms of having a solid foundation, being professional, good infrastructure, good developers and marketers, working hard while remaining very approachable. Blockfolio is also a very good mobile app, and don't forget youtube! Of course finding the reputable sources is a very important component. In addition to Binance there is Cryptopia which has a lot of the obscure small cap coins.

I never had much luck with the Ledger Nano's.  Id recommend the Trezor hardware wallets for ease of use.
