Blade erupter backplane with ATX PSU

Hello

I got 10x blades and a backplane.

After 1 day my psu went out.

I have ordered a new one but im trying to mine while im waiting for it.

Ive connected the backplane to an atx psu. I've cut some of the gfx power supply and connected it to the backplane.

Im having some problems with warm cables even if im using 2-3 in every slot on the backplane.

Any ideas? Has anyone managed to get the backplane running of an atx psu?

I do prefer this option the hp psu sounds line a minor jet taking off, this one is almost silent.
