Experts have branded the move a dangerous power grab that marks Facebook's "most invasive" form of surveillance yet.

On the other hand, Libra could widen expose cryptocurrencies to billions of users and help push mainstream adoption of digital payments. A story to follow.

I feel the same about it. It could even be a plot from the US government itself to spy on people's financial habits. Facebook and Google are the largest spying partner of the US. They are even involved in US sponsored coup and and funding. Just imagine what would happen if they came to control most of money in crypto around the world.

Interesting points in the interview. Although the main principles of Libra might be disputable, Libra will certainly do a great service for blockchain / cryptocurrency adoption and popularization.

And even the government against the libra crypto caused by the government has the opposite opinion about the libra coin. It looks like this will become a big controversy for libra coin because both from government and crypto community have their own opinion about that.
