The tokens on the platform are all ERC-721 tokens. These tokens generate a ledger of all assets that are created in the ecosystem. When developers want to link tokens to their game assets, they simply point the token's metadata to interact with their games individual smart contract functionality. This allows for a system where devs can create many different underlying token mechanics and other features like marketplaces, ownership features, and referral systems.
