As i have seen cryptomarket of the altcoins are doing good in terms of their increase rate some will say to the moon? I do not get the exact meaning of it and i am confuse why they said to the moon and why not to the sun or to the stars or to the mars. Well anyway just help me get the idea of it becuase i became frustrated to get the information of why they used these term when crypto were having good. I hope that you can answer my question for the good and i can get along with those members that are really thought about going to the moon.

In my opinion to the moon is mean the price will increase up to 5 till 10 times, and all good fundamental crypto has opportunity to do that, when crypto has possibility to going up to 100 times people will say going to the Mars. Moon is more near than Sun and Mars so that mean will be more possible to reach it.

go to the moon is a happy phrase that the market or a crypto is rising high. there is no prohibition if you want to say go to the stars, go to the sun or go anywhere, everyone is free to express his pleasure.

HHH, this is just a humorous way of saying it.
The whole market is going up again, so what we need to do is just hold,

because it is a meme, it is the same as all the other people say HODL instead of HOLD, there are a lot of memes in the cryptosphere, but to be honest, i hate everybody who says "to the moon" it irritates me.

It doesn't matter how you call that as moon, mars ot etc. Every people has their own joke to this word. But the common person are more familiar with the word of moon.
You can try to replace the word of moon with pluto too but that depends on your self what ever you called it.

Simply because it is a phrase. According to this urban dictionary, the expression "to the moon" means:

Quote
to the highest degree; utterly totally; to the max.

and there is the phrase, "to the moon and back", as in "He loves her to the moon and back"
which people use when they want to express something which is huge, or to measure something which is hard to measure, something unmeasurable.

It was an idiomatic expression of Cryptocurrency users to tell which coin are going to increase or grow in the next days or events. I think to the moon is the one used and not sun, stars or even mars because that's the only farthest astronomical body that was reached by mankind ever since so it's more realistic compared to others. Maybe if NASA's rockets will bring people to the mars then there would be a To the mars
