Interesting conundrum here, do you hold and hope for good news or do you safeguard against bad and trade your coins before the meeting starts? Also will many choose the hours before the meeting as profit consolidation time, and if so how many hours before and how much?

What's your thoughts, and if you're going to say buy and hold...entertain us through a meme at least, we already know what some of you are like  Cheesy

I think we pretty much know everything they're going to say.  I'm not sure anything new will be immediately coming out of this.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Then presumably the market will have already accounted for this beforehand and we might was well take profits now? This is why I'm asking, if it's a foregone conclusion than the market has already assimilated this information and waiting for a post conference rally will be foolhardy if not painting a big target on your back.

The most likely outcome seems to me that they do nothing right now. There'll be talk about the good and bad of Bitcoin, from a number of perspectives, some lines of inquiry will be started, and any legislative action will take place sometime in the future, after further research has been conducted. I expect no clear outcome today, one way or the other.

I don't think the Chinese care much about what the fed says so I don't think there will be any significant change

The absence of anything signficantly negative during the hearing will drive prices up on exchanges trading in USD over the next week.

I think bitcoin will do exactly what it did on block reward halving, SR being shut down, exchanges running away with all the money, and all the other recent news stories - don't give a fuck and continue oscillating up Smiley
