Hi guys..

I'm just trying to do some mining, but I think the client is doing nothing..

The client is called cgminer, and when I write the username and password to login with the client this is what shows me:

I think it's doing nothing..

Can someone give me a hand?

Do you even have a working mining hardware? The cgminer didn't detect anything useable..

Either mine Litecoin or buy an ASIC to mine Bitcoin.

It would be helpful if you gave us some information to go off of...your hardware or your conf file would be a good start!

You will need something, like GPU or some ASIC...

Even top-line GPUs don't mine a lot, but it's where you should start.
I'm not sure about this particular miner, (I use guiminer,) but I believe you have to input which device you want to mine with. There's usually a codename for your GPU (mine happens to be Tahiti) which is what you'll use.

If you are running Windows, go to "Start" and search for "device manager". Go to display adapters or graphics adapters depending on your version of Windows. What model do you have? You might also need a driver update depending on who makes your GPU. Once you know the model name, go to Intel's website, NVidia's website, or ATI's website depending on the manufacturer and download a driver update.

I'm a newbie to both BTC and the mining of it. I use the BitMinter client (check out over at BitMinter.com). It doesn't bring me a lot, in fact it's damn slow, but it all adds up in the end. If you want to have a little bit larger growth, look into cloud mining (see the link in my sig). You make use of a much larger pool of resources for a larger return.

You need drivers... First if determine whether it is a radeon or a nvidia card.

If it's Radeon, you need to download something like AMD-APP-SDK-v2.7-Windows-64 & 13-1_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql

You need other stuff for nvidia... Although you might not be able to post, you can read other forums and google or search them for instructions..

It's a little technical, but not hard.. A little research goes a long way.. and theres heaps of tutorials around the place..

And no, sorry love, but I'm not going to write one just for you... Make a little effort...

Hi guys, thank you for all your answers.

My graphic card is AMD Radeon HD 7310

So I just download AMD-APP-SDK-v2.7-Windows-64 & 13-1_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql?

Thank you again.

Edit* Could you explain me how to use guiminer and website I would have to create the workers?

You may want to read the post NEWBIE README in the main NEWBIE section. In the NEWBIE README, the first sentence will take you to an overview of Bitcoin and Mining. Sorry I can't post the link yet, still a noob.  Grin Best of luck..
