XVG mining

I have around 70 1070/1080 and currently mining zec. I’ve started having weird interest on XVG mining recently  . Is anyone here in this forum mining XVG with 1070s? If so, can you share your experience here and will you be able to post your “Actual” profitability here please?

I've mined it with GTX 1060 6 Gig. The only thing I can say is that I noticed better results mining with X17 algo than Lyra2REv2, about 2 coins a day better with X17 per card.

Hard to saw on profitability. The price per XVG went up before their partnership announcement; then went down after it. I'm not optimistic that the coin will have a high value so I think volume is the way to go with it.

Yes, it is profitable to mine; not the greatest though.

Thanks for your input. But 2 coins a day is really sucks as it is just about 60 cents a day even with “all time high”  price range. Probably it’s better to buy them from market directly than to mine with expensive hardware haha.

How to mining blake2s with amd ? or we have to use another algo ?
Because i recently switch from nvidia to amd.
claymore is only for dual mining any miner to solo this algo ? rex amd is harder than nvidia to figure out.

I think you misunderstood him. He said he's getting 2 coins MORE in x17 algo then lyra2v2. I recently mined on lyra2v2 with 12*1050ti and got 3 coins in 30-50 minutes.

Profitability wise, that is not a wise move at all. By normal conventions, XVG is not a coin that you actively choose to mine. It is something you DUAL mine as the 2nd alternative coin.

Just checkout Claymore's dual Ethereum miner. Guides on how to do this are abundant online. XVG support was added in version 11.

I get about 16 coins a day using X17. I get about 13 - 14 coins a day using LyraREv2. So I get about 2 more coins a day mining using x17.

Is that with your 6 X 1060s or is it per GPU?  Is that in a pool ?

16 coins a day per each GTX 1060 6gb card. I mine on SuperNova.
