Gauging Interest: Ann Arbor, Michigan Bitcoin Meetup?

Is there any interest in holding a meetup in the Ann Arbor area?

I'd say towards the end of the month (or maybe even beginning of july)...

There are a lot of people who use, and who might be interested in, Bitcoin who aren't on this forum. The best thing to do is to just start a group on Meetup.com and promote it via the keywords on that site and also go promote it on Facebook and Reddit. Expect a slow start (i.e. no one will come to your Meetups for the first few months) but if you keep it up it will eventually grow.

Sorry for digging up the dead, but is there anything going on bitcoinwise in Ann Arbor, Detroit or Michigan in general? If been searching the web for a couple hours now, but it seems like a dead spot. :/

I never found much going on there, i'm no longer located in michigan though, so maybe something has started up since I left a while back.
