The fact is the banks gave the operator a hard time and in addition the EU might not be as receptive to blockchain as we are lead to believe!

In my opinion the operator of this exchange knows more than he says. He is honorable, refunding the money and walking away. Maybe he smells a rat in the EU. Romania is a member of the EU.

I think he must have some specific problems as EU is a crypto compliant region and there are no problems operating from there as long as you obey the regulators there, declare your earnings and pay taxes.
