Went to finally change my payout address at BTCGuild from my MyBitcoin addr to an addr from my local wallet, and I decided to give old MyBTC one last shot. I pointed my browser to
http://www.mybitcoin.com, and lo and behold, a reply! From Tom's post it seems there was 'apparently' some sort of problem. Who knows if anyone will get their coins back, but, at least we're being given some sort of explanation, however unprovable.
Thanks for at least not just evaporating MyBTC! But I still wont be entrusting you with any more of my money.
