Hi - I am new here.   I am considering purchasing some asic hardware from BlackArrowSoftware.  Has anyone had any experience with them?  Overall they seem to be pretty level-headed - but they seem to be a bit overloaded at the moment.

They say they can deliver in late February, but it seems like they are still in the planning stages.  Is this a reasonable expectation?

Not sure if you need to exit newbie status first but...

click "Bitcoin Forum" then type in the search box "Black Arrow"

Question has been asked many times.

Me too, thinking of the same

although they have just changed the purchase quantities of the prospero X1 to 10 instead of 1

I damn well hope it is a mistake by someone on their site

have you registered on their forums?

Sorry - I just joined this forum - so this is the only place I can post.   It seemed that it would be better than simply posting another Introduction post.  I have seen other answers but I guess I haven't found anything that really made me feel confident in becoming vested in it.

I looked at their forum yet it seemed pretty sparse and it seemed like a lot of people were not getting responses.  I figure they are busy and it seemed like I might get a better response from a more widely used forum.

It seems like a great price - but it would be less great if they missed their target.

Thanks for the link - at least from what people have said it appears that they can be.  I guess they just haven't put something out for awhile.

The quantity change does not appear to be a mistake from what I read.  That's kind of a bummer.  Apparently do not allow for group orders either.

Minimum Qty 10 might mean they are struggling to raise the $5million typically needed to make an ASIC.  Wink

It's a bad move because obviously people might risk $300 but think twice about $3,000!

yeah, was thinking that. damn shame if true, I was really ready to hand over cash for 1 definitely and maybe 2

I spose If I could find other people in the 10 then we could buy together, I get the impression they would go for that

Believe it or not they don't allow group buys!  Cheesy

Apparently so

Group buys: Group buys are not permitted. We will cancel any order that we discover that is a group buy and will refund the payment minus 10% that we will charge for our time wasted in this matter. By placing an order for this item you agree with the above.
