[10:02:47 PM] jay schr: It's a post claiming that you are a scammer, with you claiming the OP is a scammer.
[10:03:23 PM] Ken: Yes. I just told you ive been scammed
[10:03:23 PM] jay schr: If you want to build rep on the forums this trade may help as I will be posting in the honest traders thread, otherwise we're done here.

[10:03:52 PM] Ken: Haha fuck you
[10:03:53 PM] Ken: thief
[10:03:54 PM] Ken: reported

I was put off by the email he gave me in which to send the money due to the first few threads bringing up scammer reports. After seeing them I decided to let him know that I request the BTC first in which he told me "fuck you, thief, reported".

If the conversation goes beyond ~5 lines I shut down the chat. It signals that the other party is clearly a hyperactive child or not interested in actually pulling through a trade where both parties get what they want.
The only relevant things are exchange of reputation, payment addresses and amounts. Maybe a 'hello'.

The chat log is inconclusive but next time, suggest an escrow like btcrow.com, though they prob. don't accept PayPal due to high risk

I've done enough trades to know the warning signs. It was the over-active "hyper" responses that kind of suggested to me that he was not for real. Not to mention the excess mentioning of sending payment as a gift.

This guy's a tool, claiming that he's been scammed before by other scammers on this forum. Just a heads up.

there are 2 ways how you can do it

on 1 side it is fair that you pay first before sending the bitcoins , as payments are reversable
on the other side , bitcoins can not be refunded when payments can

if he provided teh reason that he wanted it as gift because of the extra costs ... then i would accept it
but for the reason that you can not claim it ... that ask for trouble

if you do not trust him and still want to trade over paypal you can use http://powerchaos.info for the trade (its mine .. maybe not enouf rep on this forum but i got enouf rep on other things )

or a other way you can work is by seding just 50% of the payment , then he can send the full amount and then you send the other part ( its a common used way of trading)

ofcourse the fraude can still exist , as example he sends you the full bitcoin and you refuse to send the other 50% ... he got scammed then for  50%
or he just refuse to send you the bitcoin then you only lost 50% of the payment instead the full amount

anyway
i woulnd trust this trade for the reason he provide that he need it as gift ...
