Hi ive just started off with Bitcoins and am looking for some advice!
I've spotted what looks in my eyes a good deal which is for a 100gh Asic
http://www.minersource.net/black-arrow-prospero-x-1-100gh-s/
Is it worth getting, and if so is there anything in that price range worth getting? (I'm in Europe btw)
thanks

If you can get that for $300 and you don't need anything else to start mining,

and if it does get delivered to you by February 2014 as they stated, then it's a very good deal.

I don't know of any, but you can google it.

Just keep in mind that from february to april 2014 difficulty will skyrocket.
KnC just announced a 3TH(!) miner for 10000$ and people preordering them in dozens already  Shocked

it looks like a good deal however it looks a bit shady, no image or anything of it.
Is it a quick setup? says "out of the box functionality"

Click "Bitcoin Forum" then type "Black Arrow" in to the search box and you will have all your answers.  Wink

Basically Black Arrow needs to raise the cash to make the product, you are more an investor at the moment, your money is at risk if they fail, only invest what you can afford to lose.

IF the price of BTC skyrocket in March onwards then it will offset the rising difficulty or better mine PPC with this miner.  Grin

Contact bobsag he's the owner of minersource.net and get some advise in purchasing this nice little miner.

I would think you might be better spending the money on BTC itself and then hoping it rises

I know someone who would have been a $millionaire right now if only he had kept his Bitcoins instead of pre-ordering mining equipment from Butterfly Labs.

If you're going to pre-order mining equipment don't use BTC.  Wink

After all, Black Arrow belongs is a hardware supplier who actually fabricated and shipped miners. Only a few providers have this reputation at the moment.

That reputation means nothing to me. Even avalon and bfl have that kind of reputation.
