hey guys, i'm trying to mine LTC coins with cpuminer. this is the command i run:
minerd -o
http://coinotron.com:3334 -u Ficus.cpu -p MYPSW
but i receive the following error:
HTTP request failed: Recv failure: Connection was reset
json_rpc_call failed, retry after: 30 seconds
and of course every 30s the error loops again. my pc spec:
i5 4670 3.4 GHz
ram 8 GB 1800 MHz
7870 2 GB
win 7
any hints on what i'm doing wrong?
edit: sorted it out, i needed a proxy stuff thing as explained here:
