problem with jalapeno firmware

Hello

I have a upgraded jalapeno it came doing 8GHs, the hardware errors were low(~0.1%) also te temperature (31ºC)

so  I tried ckolivas 1.2.6 elf files:   freq 8 firmware, it flashes ok, but then it don't initialize (the jala front led never lights up), I did the same with freq7 and it runs ok, i tried also freq9 with no sucess.

I'm now running with freq7, but it's no improvement, still 8Ghs

I used Avr dragon and cgminer(latest) on win7 x64
