Hey guys,

title says it all Smiley I'm just getting started with Bitcoins and taking my first steps. From what I've read so far, a wallet seems to be a good starting point, hence the following question:

Which wallet is recommendable and why?

If this question has already been asked (and answered) plz post a link - thx!

I've used the standard Bitcoin-qt client for years now. I recommend it.

If you dont mind downloading 12 GB blockchain, use official Bitcoin-qt client.

If you dont like the above, use Electrum client
