Can't delete electrum dat file (macOS)

Hello,

I've been trying to completely delete electrum from my system so that I can regenerate it from the seed (after loosing my PW) and nothing works, my account is still there everytime I open the program

The wallet file is now called default_wallet (assuming your version of electrum is up to date). Try to search for that.

• Open Finder
• Go > Go to folder (shift+cmd+G) and type ~/.electrum

Rename the default_wallet file that is inside the wallets folder and then it'll create a new file for you to restore from your seed
