I have never dealt with them before.

I talked to them on Monday and they said they had 5 in stock.

Hmmm interesting. But I can't find any info on them. WTB someone who's good at researching into this sort of stuff (like my thread about insight.com)

Ya right.

They also have 6990s in stock for $696. Both cards were "added to their catalog" in the last 1-2 days. So the store suddenly appears out of the blue with tons of stock of popular cards, no picture, no description and an amateur looking website and that doesn't throw up red flags?

Use common sense, guys. If you guys want to look up reviews on a store, check the Etailer Ratings section here for websites. If nothing comes up - avoid the store at all cost.

Yeah this sounds too good to be true.
But their head office is just down the street from where I live.
Does this offer me any protection as a buyer?
Probably not since Québécois live and play by their own rules.

If they are just down the street, why not buy it in person, or if you aren't interested in buying something, maybe someone else can buy it through you by proxy (not ip proxy, but ... you, proxy)?
