Hello,

My name is Cory Anderson and I am one of the cofounders of KOHR.  We have been developing our product over the past 6 months and will be releasing our beta to a select few users who get in early and signup through our website.  We wanted to reach out and invite users who are already familiar with the Bitcoin/Virtual Currency Industry prior to going completely public and I would personally like to invite the Bitcointalk.org community to take part in our initial Beta.  I will be responding to questions on here, Angellist.co, as well as traditional channels of communications throughout this process.  I welcome any feedback you may have and I am sure my team as well will appreciate any feedback you may have.  This is a very exciting product we hope will greatly benefit the community and look forward to getting you all involved.

About Kohr:

Kohr is a multi-currency platform that allows users to buy, convert and spend both fiat and virtual currency. Our proprietary system can create exchange markets for any currency pair as well as allow the user methods to spend their moneys anywhere. More importantly, we believe simplicity is key for broad adoption and such is the driving-force of our platform design.

We will be sending beta invitations to users who signup via www.kohrcard.com

Our website also has an overview video which will better illustrate the capabilities of our product.

Check out our site or follow us on AngelList www.angel.co/kohr and please don’t hesitate to ask for more information.

Highlights:
Multiple wallets, multiple currencies.
Spending card that behaves as a debit card.
Familiar fee structure - with added benefits to cardholders.
Proprietary conversion system that finds the user a better conversion option across multiple currencies.

Thank you for taking the time!!

Sincerely,

Cory Anderson
Cofounder

Thank you for the quick responses!  You guys are awesome!

A little on the company itself, we are located in Los Angeles, CA.  We have a diverse management team with backgrounds in business consulting for Fortune 100 companies, development for the Military, and advisors who lead multibillion dollar finance companies.  I don't want to give too much away before our public launch, but we are 100% US based and have some very reputable parters.  Our Angel.co profile has a little info on this topic. As far as my background here is my LinkedIn profile: www.linkedin.com/in/andersoncory/

We have an open Seed round right now and have been approached by a few investors, but are looking for the right one.  In our initial beta we will not be testing the debit card (which will be just like any other US debit card) as we are still working out the integration on that end.  However, the beta will include the Vault (wallets) and some really amazing currency exchanging functionality for multiple virtual currencies. We are only weeks away from invitations being sent out for the beta so please share this with anyone who you think will enjoy our product. I want to thank everyone in advance for their support.

Also, thank you for finding the spelling error.  Smiley

It will be accepted everywhere MC and VISA are! Smiley  Our goal is to make a platform and provide the tools that you have access to with your traditional checking account but using virtual currency instead.  We want to reach not only technical users but the general public as well, giving EVERYONE a seamless platform to use without a learning curve.  In turn helping the Bitcoin and Altcoin communities grow.
