Best way to get btc from USD to exchanges

Hi all, I've been researching btc as well as alt currencys for a few weeks now and am currently waiting for a small purchase on coinbase to go through to get me started. Right now I'm thinking about just purchasing on coinbase simply because it is the simplest way for me to go about it, with the ACH transfer, then moving to BTC-e and Cryptsy to do some trading. I see that CampBX is a little bit cheaper than coinbase usually, so once they begin to accept US ACH transfers I may switch over to them? How does this sound?? Again I'm pretty new at this.
