Can someone tell me why people purchasing devices like "Twinfury USB Bitcoin Miner  4.5 – 5GH/s" per 290 EUR if accroding to this http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/ it will not be profitable at all and total loss of money even if start mining today?

Looked at ebay prices for such devices... and it is even higher. But why? Who purchasing it and for what?
