If Badbear ate moved them they normally get sent to the trashcan with a link. Can users delete threads if nobody posts in them?

Topics were NOT self moderated.
How is that possible ?

Any of the Moderators (section or global) and Admin can move or delete threads.  Members cannot move or delete their own threads (even if self moderated).  Deleted threads go to the trashcan (board 15 I think) which is only viewable by the Mods and Admin.  If you believe a member is a scammer and want to find a deleted thread you could try PM one of the section moderators (gmaxwell or MiningBuddy).

thing is i posted in those 2 topics, and cant find them anywhere, and next to that, the scammer, has his account clean.
wasnt it better the mod to leave topics there since a few other members posted that its a scam ?
user im talking about its "lucas.arvalo84", he posted 2 topics , 1 with selling gpus, and 1 with bitfury kits, both topics gone ...

with those topics deleted, its like the scammer is protected, there is no warning abt him, and he can scam again, whats the point of deleting them ?

I don't see them in the trashcan, I'm checking it out. I doubt I deleted them, I'm not in the habit of doing that for the reasons stated already. I do delete threads outright sometimes, but only spam, garbage like begging, altcoin cross posts in newbies, etc.

All right, restored to archives. They weren't intentionally deleted, but a side effect of one of the mods banning him for spamming.
