can someone please explain to me why prices on ebay are really really expensive? i see people offering say 8 hours or 24 hours even 3 day hosting like this

Bitcoin Mining Contract: 120 GH/s 24hrs. Two Avalon Asic Miners!!!!

FAST 'N FREE - Get it on or before Thu, Dec. 12
Time left:41m leftToday 9:57AM
$455.00
24 bids
Free shipping

then i check the bitcoin calculators and it shows that at 120 gh/s for 24 hours you get

Coins per 24h at these conditions   0.0355 BTC
Power cost per 24h   0.36 USD
Revenue per day   28.37 USD

am i missing something or are people just wasting money

Ahahaha it's called the free market, some people are stupid and smarter people take advantage of it.

Premium for getting in immediately if you aren't already invested. If you already have hardware and can wait for preorders, you don't buy anything off ebay for the premium. However, if you need to buy in and don't want to wait, you're going to pay a lot.

Edit: Also, yes, people are losing money on these. I hope they realize this. Some are just expensive hardware, others are just flat out losses that they are fishing for idiots...and getting them.
