I'm not a developer or technical person....I trade physical commodities in the real world....trust me the hardest part of trading is dealing with the current International banking system....anyhow

I had an idea while driving this morning and I wanted to check if it is even possible.

I noticed a few coins claiming to be 2nd Generation with even new unique source code from Bitcoin....as mentioned by alot of people that one of the main weakness of Bitcoin is it's ability to be cloned....to fix this problem and to control the spread of copy cats....

Would it be possible to build a time release mechanism into the source code so that it releases highly advanced features over a period of time?

Just wanted to know if it was even possible
