Much Thanks, Anon.

You set me on the right path, and I now am hashing properly.

Once I get some Doge, I shall forward your prize to the address you posted earlier.

Those screenshots are kinda small, can't really tell what it says.

What does your cgminer .bat file look like?

You could try a p2pool, I've made a good amount from one, no need to sign up.

Just create a .bat file, put it in the same folder as cgminer.exe file, edit the bat file and put in:

Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o http://pool.hostv.pl:9555/ -u DCMJJGBQPP9KGFvGuvac9DxrnFF5t1HLkb -p 123123 --intensity 13

The above is my bat file, replace my wallet address with yours, password doesn't matter. You can raise the intensity if you want, I'm usually at 18 when afk. Then you just save and run the bat file.

Sorry if I mentioned a bunch of stuff you already knew, it's hard to tell the experience of miners.

http://doge.scryptpools.com/

Blocked my account for no apparent reason.

When I try to log in it claims

"Unable to login: Account is locked. Please contact site support."

Also their "support" is a thread on this forum. A thread, I might add, that "newbies" are restricted from posting on.

Tried to get into doge.scryptpools.com, but registration was disabled at the time. On doge.cryptopool.it at the moment, which seems to be going well. Which is better?

Can DogeCoin be bought on any large exchanges?

So far I have only found dogecoins on ebay, and they are exorbitantly priced. I have seen dogecoin for sale in the bitcointalk forum, but not sure how safe it would be to transact that way.

Also, it appears that there are currently something over 8000 blocks so far in the dogecoin blockchain. Each block from 1 - 100,000 gets a 1m dogecoin reward. So that means that there are already 8000 million dogecoins in existence. Right? So how can the price of dogecoins on ebay be justified?

Anyone?

Block 1-100,000: 0-1,000,000 DogeCoin Reward
Block 100,001 — 200,000: 0-500,000 DogeCoin Reward
Block 200,001 — 300,000: 0-250,000 DogeCoin Reward
Block 300,001 — 400,000: 0-125,000 DogeCoin Reward
Block 400,001 — 500,000: 0-62,500 DogeCoin Reward
Block 500,001 - 600,000: 0-31,250 DogeCoin Reward
Block 600,000+: 10,000 DogeCoin Reward

Dogecoin is just days old.I am thinking of GPU mining.
Any suggestion about a good gpu mining hardware?

Heard dogecoin can't be mined by ASIC.

It's worth this much because it is a fairly well distributed coin right now, most people don't have more than a few 100k. Also there's the coinedup exchange https://coinedup.com/

Not exactly, every block rewards from 0 to 1.000.000 Doge which should come to about half on average Smiley
So 4000 Million Doge, judging by the common price of 0,1BTC per Million this comes to a Market cap of 400.000 ^^

Don't try to make sense of ebay coin prices btw, more often than not they are incredibly expensive ^^
