Escrow services question

Is there any Escrow service that is better than another?

I am looking to possibly use one to buy some Blu Fury's. As I got burned once giving someone I didn't know half the payment up front to something they never shipped or intended too I don't want to go down that path and the 4 hour drive to timbuk2 one way do to a do a face to face meet its worth it.
