Prediction: he'll say it's interesting as a free market competitive money, but will also say that gold is better.

winner.

also, you can tell he's watching it closely. he said, "you saw that it wasn't very stable when the chinese government said they werent going to allow it and the value dropped 2-300 dollars."

Hodl for the longest tiem.

Both of these interviews were a complete waste of time, because the media outlets are framing it as Ron Paul giving his opinion about Bitcoin, and he's very honest and forthright about not understanding particularly much.

They proceed to ask him questions that make absolutely no sense unless he specifically were an expert on the technology, and squander the fact that he's very qualified to answer questions about monetary policy in general!

I wouldn't worry about it. The interviewer was probably amazed that at 78 he can remember anything more than his own name. Most people are drooling all over themselves in a nursing home by his age.

Has Ron Paul said if he's going to run in 2016, or is he out now?

Has Ron Paul said if he's going to run in 2016, or is he out now?

Will he live until 2016? The oldest president at inauguration was Ronald Reagan and he was a doddering old fool while in office. Ron Paul is a decade older.

Here's the reason you don't elect a president that's too old:

Quote
"During Mr. Reagan's trip to Europe...members of the traveling press corps watched him doze off so many times--during speeches by French President Francois Mitterrand and Italian President Alessandro Pertini, as well as during a one-on-one audience with the Pope--that they privately christened the trip 'The Big Sleep.'"
--Mark Hertsgaard, On Bended Knee: The Press and the Reagan Presidency

"Poor dear, there's nothing between his ears."
--British Prime Minister Margaret

"What planet is he living on?"
--President Mitterand of France poses this question about Reagan to Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau.

"President Reagan doesn't always check the facts before he makes statements, and the press accepts this as kind of amusing."
--former president Jimmy Carter, March 6, 1984

"The aging Ronald Reagan is the first modern President whose contempt for the facts is treated as a charming idiosyncrasy."
--James David Barber, presidential scholar, On Bended Knee: The Press and the Reagan Presidency, Mark Hertsgaard

If you want to support a good libertarian candidate for president try Darryl W. Perry. He already loves Bitcoin and wouldn't die in office of Alzheimer's. lol

If this novelty campaign gets in the way of him doing his affiliate relations job w/ Free Talk Live I'm going to be canceling my platinum amplifier status. Rand Paul is the only libertarian with a chance and if the puritans start a crusade against him w/o actually studying his positions indepth instead of passing around what they think they know about him, then so be it.

PS, you can find a tube of the RP interview > http://www.libertycrusaders.com/ron-paul-bitcoin-could-go-down-in-history-as-destroyer-of-the-us-dollar/

You got that right!  He said: "...Bitcoin is out there, and gold is out there... ... We don't know about Bitcoin; that doesn't have a very long history. I like the history of gold, of course, because that's a little bit longer."

And he kept talking about gold...

Peter Schiff needs to learn some lessons from this guy;

50 years in politics
Many times stood alone on votes despite pressure
Many times ridiculed and ignored, doesn't sway
Long time gold & silver investor, very educated on economic history
Doesn't understand much about computers

Introduced to Bitcoin:
