When building a mining PC with multiple GPU's, is it possible to use different graphich cards on the same machine? For example, could I mix Radeon 280, 290 and 7970 from different manufacturers??

Or do they all have to be *exactly* the same model?

No they don't have to be the same, I have run a 7990 (MSI) with a 7870 LE (POWERCOLOR) without issues.

Just bare in mind when you set settings eg power tune, it will run on both, so may cause issues.  Otherwise us the -d option in the batch file to tell it which card to use.
