I'm building a new pc in the new year. Video games. Movies.
But would like to add 2-4 cards to use it to mine alt coins as well.
I'm trying to find the latest guide for a home alt mining rig.

Any suggestions? Or what's the best card and mono combo right now.

Thank you

You can't mine and game at the same time. Really, if you want to invest then buy some BTC or LTC and trade them for other altcoins you like on sites like cryptsy. Or lurk here and wait for the newest shitcoin to waste some hashes on with your newly built system, that you can never game with because it's always mining.

If you want to mine alt coins you should dedicate a rig into that. I mean playing video games and have 3 extra cards sitting there doing nothing it's not worth it. (Even if you have them on crossfire for games).
As for mobos take a look at this one http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81%20Pro%20BTC/
I don't know if anyone tested it yet but it looks promising

Well I don't game 24/7. I'm looking for the best rig to us to have mining when I'm travelling or sleeping/working.
Spending the money anyway. May as well have it do something while I'm not using it.
