Coinbase Competitor That Serves International Clients?

What do you mean by "does what coinbase does"? Coinbase offers a number of services. What service are you looking for specifically?

It was a service that allowed to connect a bank account, and buy bitcoins direct. (Like Paypal for Bitcoin).

I don't know about Sage but I'd sure like to find an international company that offers a simple and trustworthy bitcoin purchase system and a simple and easy way to sell and transfer back to fiat currency functionality.

I'm searching high and low for such services.  So far, all I have is:

bitstamp.net - seem to be slow and not very responsive but, yes, the biggest

bittylicious.com - simple easy low amount purchase in the UK

coinjar.com - Australia.. .New Zealand Coming.... just got $500K VC funding

Canadian Virtual Exchange - http://cavirtex.com/ - Seem top notch with many buy, sell, liquidate options.

PLEASE Bring on any other suggestions as I have friends and community members around the world who would like to know where to go to find simple, trustworthy Bitcoin buy/sell executions and fiat transfers.

bitstamp.net have never been anything but quick and highly responsive to me ....... maybe they have grown too fast too big, but I've yet to have a single issue with them.

You forgot to mention gox but that's probably deliberate

Yep, empoweoqwj, gox left out by design.. just can't get my arms around them enough to recommend  to my community.

Thanks for the feedback on bitstamp.  My experience with them is third party through a just a few community members so always good to get more input.

Bitstamp doesn't cut it because of 5-7 day wire + wire fees.

This company allowed direct access to a bank account without the delay.  Just like coinbase.

If you are in Europe, you use SEPA - takes 24 hrs, and fee was about 4 UKP when I used it however much I sent. Not too much of a hassle.

Not as good as direct access I grant you, but its fine. I've never done a 5-7 wire to anywhere in the world in the last 10 years.

It won't happen anytime soon due to the difference of the banking systems in the world. International Paypal never works like US Paypal because of the same reason.

How does international paypal different from US paypal? You mean in terms of fees?

BIPS.me does direct bank account deposits by wire.

CampBx has an international wire withdraw option.

I can't see anyone using CampBx outside the States. The liquidity is so poor, last time I looked anyway.

What about kraken.com - has that been mentioned?
