According to Filecoin, micropayment is used to settle Retrieval Miners and clients in the Retrieval Market. However, if a client refuses to send a micropayment, Retrieval Miner's network resource is wasted and there is no way to help the miner to be compensated from its retrieval.

Is there a better solution than 'micropayment'? Maybe blockchain should first be able to measure the amount of the retrieval of a miner. Does anyone have any idea or have seen any paper tackling this issue?

I've heard about micro payment has become useless in terms of making fees with bitcoin. But, there're solutions to it such as lightning network and Tumblebit are getting more trust from the users

From my perspective i think micropayment is good. But someone has a negative mind set against micropayment. May be the question answer is yes.
