Well maybe its because i am old bastard or i just like seeing people happy, i bought me some gold plated copper BTC promotional coins and been handing them out to the local shops and stores in my neighbourhood.

when the question comes up "yeah i heard about those things, what are they again..?" i move into BTC promo mode.

after a good 5 minute spiel on what it is i hand them a promo coin and their faces light up. i do emphasize the coin is a promo and not a real BTC but odds are they get home and give google a thrashing about BTC.

i am all for things that are new and revolutionary and BTC/alt coins have really tweaked my fascination. keeps the old grey matter ticking.

i have given out abut 20 coins so far to the staff who work in the stores i frequent. also to some bystanders who manage to hear "bitcoin" stop and join the conservation.

the word is getting out...long live the coin.

Seems interesting, what promotional physical coins are you talking about, any website?

I 'm afraid that a physical coin is going to get people confused about what bitcoin actually is  Tongue
