Been waiting for eth to reach $1,000 mark. With this update im quite positive it will. The pow to pos is beneficial to miners, requiring less electricity wastage and faster transactions. This really would pump up ethereum. Once it crosses the $823 mark, it will moon up to $1000 in no time.

One of the best updates from Eth team. We will be expecting a sudden spike in Eth few days or weeks from now. I'll be adding some of my investments soon and hoping that I can profit a little bit taking advantage with this new update. Sure thing it will create great impact on the value as well as invite new investors. Kudos to Eth team for making the technology trustworthy and awesome.

On the basis of the proposal information, the PoW miners reward by blocks will drop down to 0.6 ETH from 3 ETH while PoS stakers will receive 0.22 ETH that means the overall inflation rate will go down to 2 percent.

Furthermore, in order to enter the PoS game, one is supposed to own 1,500 ETH to receive stacking reward. This is really huge, and I don't see how they are going to avoid centralization. Ah, wait, the network is already pretty much centralized.

With the Casper protocol being released it might just mean that ethereum will keep growing and hit a good price. This is a good thing and this is why I have so much faith in the ethereum project. They team and the developers are always working on new and better ways to make the project bigger. This is just the beginning and ethereum investors will never regret investing in it.
