Look, we've surpassed April already and what happened? Basically, your prediction is incorrect. We even had higher price this month. Please stop being so negative. Yes, we are never sure about the value or worth of bitcoin but we have to help bitcoin in order for it to move up.

I don't know if you check his profile but it looks like he is attacking bitcoin. Maybe he lost his trust specially when the price plummeted from $19K to $6K or the OP is a schill paid to spread malicious information to pull the price even further.

So just stop feeding him because we have seen that obviously his prediction didn't come true, and the opposite happen in April. Right now the price is still strong as $9K, and I don't think that it will go down even further.

December on average was around 15.000$ for BTC
Peak was in December where BTC was at 20000$
January was on average around 12.500$
February was around 10.000$
March was around 7.500$

It is not difficult at all to see where this is going......

Wow, you suddenly realized that bitcoin is good for long term profit? Of course we have been it to be more of a investment more than ever specially last year. So I wouldn't be surprised if people will continue to pour cash on the market. There are a lot of new investors waiting outside, however, they are a bit skeptical because of FUD and attacks from Banks and Government tightening. But it seems they have renewed their interest in the last month so its a good sign that bitcoin will bounce back and hit 5 digit level again.

It is called volatility and correction in the price. Nobody can say anything about the future of bitcoin price. The normal growth shows that the price will hit $10000 till the half of this year and the next half will lead the price to $11k. I think it is not possible that the price will go down more than $5000 in the near future. Now it is on the way up and we are looking towards $10k.

This is exactly why it is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin you see a trend and then you think that the trend is going to continue only for bitcoin to change direction very abruptly, this is why despite the fact that I like to speculate with the price and to try to guess the direction that is going to take I am mostly a long term holder so to me it doesn't matter that much the short term movements of bitcoin.

We're now in the mid 2nd quarter but bitcoin has not touched the 5,000$ mark and it only went up as high as 9,000$ a couple of days ago before it went down to 8,000$ again. I know there are events that affect the recent bitcoin downfall this day and i believe it won't last long too.

Bitcoin has a major support around $6500-$7k price so that would not happen very easy to happen. We've gone back to $9k and then recently it goes below $9k and I believe it's the new price support of bitcoin so that $5k is now just a history.
