Anyone else here exploring Devcoins?

Hello, Im here because Ive been reading up on Devcoins and as a writer/musician and artist, Im a bit fascinated and want to know more. 

Apparently Im meant to hook up with people here to find out more. I have a couple of posts to follow up when I am allowed off this Newbie forum, but would love to hear anything anyone has to share about this concept. Has anyone here been paid in Devcoin? Is it worth putting my work into public domain in order to support and be part of Devcoin?
