After getting screwed in the Batch 1 B3, I got screwed once again after I received my B3.  Right after turning it on, temperatures soared into the 80s, 90s, and a little over 100 on the chips.  I turned it off within minutes, as it's clearly defective.

From what I've been reading, getting Bitmain to ship you a replacement at all is lucky.  Am I dumb for asking whether or not Bitmain covers shipping for DOA units?

Thanks.

Dumb or not what else can you do? Don't ask for a replacement and you surely won't get one. Try and ask for one and you might have the same chance as finding a needle in a haystack, but hey, it's still a chance. Go ask shitmain for your replacement.

Next time just buy the coin instead of supporting ASICs. Everyone here hates ASICs.

I've asked for a replacement.  Just wondering what I'm in for.

I'm not normally a buyer of ASICs, the only reason I picked this one up was due to Bytoms algorithm specifically being made for ASICs.

Bitmain doesn't charge shipping for replacement ASIC within warranty, but you do have to ship defective unit at your own cost. For me, it's 1 day delivery to their California repair center and it usually takes Bitmain 1-2 weeks to ship replacement from Shenzhen.

For quality risers, splitters or 133 CFM fans, please visit my eBay listings,

Thank you, this is what I was looking for.  Just have to patiently wait for them to process my ticket.
