Awesome Miner & Profit Switching for ASICS

Hey guys does anyone in here use the profit switching feature on Awesome Miner for their ASICS? I have been messing around with it and it seems to be very good when it works, the only problem is that it doesn't seem to work unless windows is open and running. Does anyone know if this is the case? Also would the cloud mining subscription make the profit switching work without keeping the windows machine you run it on open and connected all the time?

Ah, Awesome Miner is a windows program running under Windows OS.  So yeah, you need to have the base OS running if you expect the application to work.
