I've been combing the web for any answer to the predicament I've found myself in, and to no avail. Normally, as a lurker and ghost to many a forum, I would just be on my merry way and say "Oh well," but this irritates me to too great a degree.
Allow me to explain:
With the up and coming DogeCoin crypto, I've decided to begin again my mining escapades, starting with my laptop seeing as how I am on vacation.
Unfortunately, running good old CGMiner is now giving me a strange error, especially since I have everything properly installed and up to date. Before I go explaining, here's the standard criteria people seem to need for bugfixing;
Box Build Lenovo Satellite L755
6GB Ram, 2GB Ramdisk
AMD Radeon HD 6520g (Shit Tier, I know)
Windows 7 - x64
UAC Disabled
AMD SDK Installed today.
CGMiner Batch:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://doge.scryptpools.com:3333 -u nil -p nil --thread-concurrency 4096 -I 10 -g 1 -w 256
I tried mining with my CPU out of boredom, but I only got a fantastic 7kb hash off for 4 cores, whoopdidoo.
When running for a GPU, it shoves this at me;
