So I have an MSI motherboard with 5 PCI-e slots. 3 1x and 2 16x. I have two 7950's that I am mining with and when I have both of them plugged in, but only the 1st card will mine. If I only have 1 plugged in, regardless of the PCI-e slot, it will work.
I have tried connecting the not working GPU to a monitor, but it still wouldn't mine.
Any ideas why only 1 GPU will mine? If I ever have both in, the GPU in the first PCI-e slot will always be the one working.

I guess you should use crossfire cable and specific slots. Have a read your motherboard manual, for MSI it is written there how to install two or more GPUs. I also have MSI mb.
