I am plannig to buy a new rig. It's a great set up and it uses Giorgina stackable gpu frame from openrigs

The set up looks like this one. The GPU are all new with warranty Gigabyte 280x

It has HD and everything is configured and tested.
How much can I pay for it? The guy is asking for $3000.

6x280x itself are worth more than $2000, I think $2400 only the GPU right?

He has windows7 with cgminer and cgwatcher I had a look and his rig can mine at 4.2MH/s.

Cards - $1900 new
PSUs - $200 new
MoBo/RAM/HDD/CPU - $250 new
Bench - $125 new

$2525 new shipped, $2250 used shipped.

Going by my MH/s cost, $.68/KH/s.... $2856 @ 4.2MH/s. $2500-3000 seems pretty reasonable for pre-built, pre-configured.

If you can get relatively fast delivery I would say it's a deal not having to waste your time building it and the sooner it's up the more coins it can mint.  $3k seems fair.

He would need two powerful PSU... maybe that's more than $100 each? I'd say $150 each for 1000W PSU

It looks very decent and stackable.
But you will need a solution for the dust. Close the top side at least.

Thank you for the info guys. I'll try to get it a little cheaper but the price seems fair.

Thanks!
