Total noob to mining here. I came to ask some questions find better settings for Cudaminer.
My system:
i7-3770k @ 4.4ghz
SLI EVGA GTX 670 FTW 2GB
16GB ram
Seasonic 750w Gold
Using the standard Cudaminer settings and no OC(in EVGA Precision) driveres are up to date, I am only pulling ~320khash/s.
On to my questions:
My whole system becomes extremely unresponsive while mining. Is this normal? I have plenty of CPU/ram resources, but can't even use the mouse/KB, even when trying to ctl+alt+del to get to taskman. I have to perform a hard shutdow to get it to stop.
Does EVGA Precision still control my cards while mining?(See next question)
Temps. Stayed right at 81c, Kepler down clocks @ 75c. Fans did not seem like they were running that high. Precision reported that they were stuck at 40%(does cudaminer ignore the fan profile in Precision?) Even benching my GPUs with Heaven or 3DMark and my card at Max OC(1300mhz FTW!), my cards would rarely hit 70c due to my fan profile. So I'd like to get my temps down.
Anyone have a good command string for SLI 670 FTW's?
I initially registered to inquire to this gentleman:
2x 670 ftw are now getting 648 kh/s with K7x32
As that is double what I was getting lastnight.
Any help would be appreciated. On to browse around the site until I can make a proper post.
