Hey all, i've been reading this forum for about 2 months now and mining litecoin for a while, but now i want to start getting into other coins, specifically Yacoin. I would like to sell it, but I'm not sure where. I've tried cryptsy, but its been 48 hours and my deposit has not gone through. Is there anywhere else i can sell Yacoin?

I heard Bter was good.

Cryptsy is currently working fine for me. Two days ago however I couldn't even log in when I wanted to put some sell orders, so i get your frustration. Made me look around a bit and I've read a lot of good stuff about Vircurex, but for smaller coins you should check its corresponding threads - they usually state where you can trade that (it's in their best interest after all).
"YACoin can be traded for other currencies through various online exchanges including bter and cryptsy. " - official site

I use coinex.pw both for mining (sha256 & scrypt coins) and trading. This service is fast and convenient to use, however prices might be a bit differ from other exchanges. I never had any problems with withdrawals - they are processed almost instantly for every coin.

Great experience on Cryptsy.com so far ... but they were getting hit with multiple DDoS attacks over the last week.

If you want something more stress free, then you may want to try Middlecoin.com or HashCo . ws (sorry, I had to add the extra spaces around the url so it would show up) who will redirect your miners to the most profitable coins in their network, exchange everything to BTC and pay you out to any BitCoin wallet address you set. I've tried them both and got above average results.

However, I still like to choose my own coins to mine when I have the time to keep on top of the profitability of each alt-coin. But these redirecting sites are great when you don't have the time to always watch the markets.

Cheers!

I use bter and have never had any problems there. Simple enough to use and will tell you how many coins you can obtain of your desired alt before you trade.

Thanks, I've already experimented with Middlecoin, but I might give Hashco a try. I also like choosing my coin hence the choice of mining Yacoin.

Cryptsy isn't showing any of my deposits or that I have even pending deposits, so I'm not sure what that's about.

I'll have to look at YaCoin ... and I think I'll be looking at some Coin Exchanges other than Cryptsy too.

For the last 2 days deposits on Cryptsy have been super slow ...  Sad I'm not too happy with that.
And for some reason Hashco . ws took about 7 hours of my mining at 3 MH/s and only gave me $4.08 .... not really what I was hoping for.

So far, it seems I've had no problem with Middlecoin and some pool mining ... I'm still mining DOGE for now as it's been outperforming (almost tripled in value in the last 5 days on Cryptsy) the other altcoins for a while now.

I suggest using Cryptsy or CoinedUp as exchanges

I use both and haven't had any major problems
