This is interesting but not solid proof that US special forces are involved.  These could have been British or French special forces.  I saw nothing that would uniquely identify them as American.  Did I miss something?

Good point.  There are a lot of NATO forces interested in Libya so who knows where else they could be from.

On the flip side of that the baseball cap is quite UN-European.  If you look close you can see the shape of the Insignia on the cap, and how he whips it off his head when he sees the camera.

It's a known fact the US has "military advisors" on the ground ala Vietnam.

Good points; you guys could very well be right. I would not be surprised at all for the US to have special forces in Lybia. I'm just saying be careful about touting this video as absolute proof. As someone mentioned above they could be contractors.

Regardless of who he is you've got to be dumber than a pile of rocks not to know that Western Powers have orchestrated, armed, and directed this entire operation to take down one of the most independant and influential countries in Africa.

CONTRACTORS you say? You mean some contractors contracted by Libyan "Rebels" ? I don't buy it.

no of course they wouldnt have been hired by the rebels.

however, being hired by the usa to act in an unoffical capacity for the us government (allowing the us to operate over there and still say they dont; plausible deniability) is a very real possibility.  in fact, given the number of contractors in iraq and afghanistan (they almost outnumber the troops in a lot of areas) id say its extremely likely.

privatization of war, welcome to the 21st century.

It doesn't matter who does the killing, government soldiers or hired mercenaries. War sucks, period.

This is not mainstream people, disproving your statement. Instead of saying that everyone disagreeing with you are stupid, could you provide us with your reasons for your beliefs?
