I am still a bit confused on what they are talking about. It sounds like they are assuming if you had someone's wallet ID that you could steal all their bitcoins?

Likely trying to show the dangers of using bitcoin - if the bitcoin was stolen it was likely by someone in the employ of Bloomberg for this show. They used to do similar things with the early Internet, trying to prove how dangerous it was.

Sheeple take note: Best stay with fiat currencies being printed by your friendly, honest governments, by the trillions out of thin air.

The lesson is clear: like the Internet, bitcoin is just too dangerous for use by everyday people

Host of the show likely wants BTC to look bad, so he set it up so that it appears Bitcoins are easily stolen. Anybody with half a brain who knows what BTC is will realize this, but those who've no exposure to tech/BTC will not. An example of a fool making the adoption barrier harder to cross.

Nah, it was just a bit careless is all. Matt Miller is no bitcoin hater.

The "thief" offered to return the funds to Matt on Reddit, but Matt was happy for the "thief" to keep the loot, which apparently was subsequently donated to Sean's Outpost, a charity in Pensacola, Fla. What a good move!

Well yes bitcoins and every other transaction we do online are at risk but if you use good password then really online thieves may not steal your bitcoins so make sure you keep a good password that is hard to guess and don’t open your sensitive documents on a public computer but only your personnel with internet security software
