How is that even possible ? The rates are failling down as the time passes ,not really secure to have LTC as a investment back-up.What he is saying is completely fictional and doesn't imacpt in the real time markets !~Byoing LTC when the market is on low levels could be a good decision.

Litecoin got hurt from the last pump and dump which was made by the chinese, but I'm sure they are accumulating lots of it... even now. I think that at the time LTC had more trade volume than Bitcoin. Trust me, LTC is far from over.

i don't agree.
coins get pump and dumped all the time and those that get hurt, start dying. which means litecoin price should have gone down to at least 0.004BTC if it was really hurt but we can clearly see that the price of LTC has held itself up in the range of 0.006+BTC and have been stable at this price for a long time which shows the accumulation.

Well, yeah. If we accept that LTC is the Bitcoin's silver then yes.

Litecoin... please.

As much as I've been around this forum it's still beyond me while anyone would be interested in LTC.

It's only one of the first copy paste coins with literally zero things to add. It should have been dead long ago.

I feel like LTC's value solely depends on a bunch of idiots - for lack of a better word.

i've been around this forum awhile and i ask the opposite "who wouldn't?"

i summarise it in; innovation or bust trust

if you look at the why how what of litecoins creation it has plenty to add, its an improvement on bitcoin without adding complication, and a fairer start. one of the very few cryptos not created in the devs quest simply for more fiat.

One thing - greed. People who bash Litecoin does not understand what cryptocurrency means and its initial purpose. Litecoin is THE BEST example of an altcoin that supports it.

Hard to believe... I may liquidate my inheritance and go full retard on Litecoin as well. ROFL!

Funny  Cheesy

I think it's fishy he announced his intentions.
Not something a half-intelligent trader would do.. if he was planning on buying soon.

That is what a Litecorn bag holder would say if he wants to dump though  Cheesy

I support Litecoin but his commentary on the Gold / Silver etc to FIAT comparison is stupid i think.
Why do we have pennies and quarters etc ?
To make change..

How do we make change with Crypto Coins ?

We don't LOL

In Canada we even dropped using the penny a couple years ago now.
All we have for coins now is.. $2, $1 and 25/10/5 cents
And no paper plastic bill smaller than a $5

Also the use comparison of metals is pretty sketchy analogy against crypto.
We base the value of those metals on their usefulness (past & present)
AND !!! on their RARITY to attain those materials.

Gold came from inside of an exploding star.. Litecoin did not  Grin

That was a pretty funny Wiz picture you posted though  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

I feel like LTC's value solely depends on a bunch of idiots - for lack of a better word.

You judge a currency by ADOPTION..
And if you don't get that then YOU are the idiot.
Further more Litecoin has historically had a better adoption rate than every other Altcoin combined.
The fact this needs to be pointed out again is reason to call you all stupid.

You heard of "The Pirate Bay" ?
Know what kind of Alexa ranking the site has ?
Well the fact they listed Bitcoin and then soon after Litecoin as donation address's on EVERY page on the entire site is what got me here into Crypto and at Bitcointalk in the fist place.

That one single point alone is more than any other shit coin can claim they accomplished.
And that was also USING a Currency as intended.. as a currency.
It also was a one hell of a massive level of internet exposure.. reaching out to LOTS of people.

Litecoin has done more than all other pathetic shitcoins have ever done combined..
THAT is why it has had a following and why it "used* to be popular.

And the only reason it has slipped in value / popularity is because all of you here are greedy little profiteers hopping from coin to coin to make scammy short terms profits on ANYTHING you can.
While PRETENDING you are coin "supporters"

You don't recognize it's value because you don't know what value in a coin means.
You are all stupid.

When you are here for the wrong reasons doing the wrong thing.. you are delusional.
You all spew bullshit 24/7 year in and year out because your fucked in the head.

Who is it that supported 6,000 ANN topics here kidiots ?
Look in the fucking mirror.

..then come here and wiggle your little dick-holster around.

PS:
TPB dropped the LTC donation address long ago.
And i have no Litecoin's right now but did way back.

EDIT:
After i hit submit i seen part of spartak + kelsey's comment.
BINGO !
THAT is why i am saying right here too !

We don't always agree, because you are mostly blinded by your own personal thoughts. Look @ FailCoin and why it was created in a first place. We are supporting it since April 2014 with money from our own pockets. And try to guess why it's looking like that at the moment?

EDIT: Here is a remix from my man KhaledFreak to all who claims that Litecoin is a "dull shitcoin" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cm1AQk30kFs

Gold came from inside of an exploding star.. Litecoin did not  Grin

I believe iron is made inside of stars, but gold and silver require two neutron stars to collide, which is why you see a lot more iron than gold and silver.  Anyway, Litecoin isn't the worst thing you can buy out of all these 5 billion useless altcoins, but the upside on silver right now is basically as high or higher than Bitcoin, so the risk / benefit analysis would always lead a smart person into selling a house for real silver rather than Litecoin at the moment.

Bitcoin is still worth buying, it's just not as big of a sure thing as silver in the long run.  Meaning if you sold a house and used it all to buy silver today then went to sleep for 20 years (or even 3 years), the price is going to be crazy higher than right now when you wake up.  For any cryptocurrency, that's a complete unknown. (I own both Bitcoin and silver at the moment).  Although, Bitcoin might have some huge upward moves soon with an ETF approval, in which case...you should probably be holding Bitcoin and not Litecoin.

Before any armchair metal investors reply, there is virtually no reason to buy gold over silver right now!

Do you know what the word "dead" means? Legacy banking claims Bitcoin is currently "dead". Ironic? Do we need to define what that word means as well?

@roach.. sounds fair to me.
And ETF ? i feel like it's 2013 again LOL
Remember when guys were chanting ETF stuff back then lots ? cough cough VLAD LOL
No offense Vlad you know we love you man Wink

AND back in 2013 LTC got love from the scene.. GOX ADDING LTC TOMORROW !!!11

(LTC had a brighter future than GOX)

Dballing yes we do have to define dead ..i have tried to explain the obvious around here lots on that.
I don't categorize Litecoin as dead just in a slow period with popularity.

I also do not object to you guys mentioning the concept of coins working together.
Such as LTC being a supplement to BTC.. sounds kinda reasonable to me.

@Roach
I don't claim to know the facts (about star metals)
..i just post them LOL Wink

PS:

Ignore Fraudcache he just Trolls with deliberately inflammatory comments.
