Cooling your mining operation

I am currently running 3 x GPU's for Litecoin and 10 Blades for Bitcoin and am amazed at how much heat my mining operation is putting out.

Its winter time and my mining operation basically is keeping my entire apartment warm...all the thermostats are turned off.

My main concern is what will happen in the summer when the temperature starts going up...or if I expand my operation?

If I keep on mining and expanding am I seriously looking at having to move everything into an air conditioned server room?

Not for a measly <2kw of heat energy, though you might need to run central air a bit more in the summer.

If you expand though, eh? Depends on how much and with what hardware.

I've got nearly 5kwh of GPUS/mining hardware in my house, and if it gets to the 50f outside it can break 85f during the daytime. Pretty big house too, miners spread across three bedrooms, a kitchen, and the living room. Summer would certainly be a problem.

But I had a lot more GPUS running all summer long on bitcoin last year, closer to 2000W. It was hot, but it was manageable. Much more will be hard.

Ya geothermal...great idea BTW...society should be looking at a lot more of this.

Unfortunately, a house is not an option for me.  I am thinking that I may need to move into a bigger apartment if I keep expanding my operation though

I don't see how there is an alternative. Eventually you will run out of power, and I doubt your landlord is going to upgrade your electrical service so you can fill his building with mining equipment 

Especially if you need AC to keep cool, that will take away power that could be used for mining.

True but centralized mining weakens the network.

You mistake centralized cloud mining and renting a data center to host hardware.

But I do agree with you, which is why I still own BTC mining hardware.

CPU cloud mining? Seems a huge bet on some coins that are likely never to be worth much. Besides, at that cost It would be easier to deploy your own cpu farm.

Still, that is not the same as centralized cloud bitcoin mining. You rent hardware and can point it wherever you want. From my understanding, things like cex.io only let you point to their pool, which is something like 30-40% of the network now?

Close all the output of your Centralised Cooling system and just give output in Miner Room so from miner room try to make easy supply to whole Appartment. so you can choose high cooling and when output will be cooling your mining and the air would be supportable when flow to other rooms n living. (My Views)

There is possibile to convert this coins in USD or Euro, or much publicized bitcoin.
