Well, we will know by Late September the latest. If the EFT is approved then I believe this will be the catalyst for which we might see the entry of new bulls arriving and the beginning of our trajectory northwards. IF the EFT isn't approved then we might see a crash back down to the 5.8k to 6k USD levels and a stagnating market until we get some other really important breakthrough/bullish news. I really do hope it does get approved as it will mark the end of this 8-month long bear run we have had to endure.

I think Bitcoin price uptrend will continue until the Bitcoin ETF decision is announced and hopefully Bitcoin ETF will be approved, If Bitcoin ETF is approved maybe we will see bull run for a long time |

I think Bitcoin price uptrend will continue until the Bitcoin ETF decision is announced and hopefully Bitcoin ETF will be approved, If Bitcoin ETF is approved maybe we will see bull run for a long time I've about somewhere that ETF can be good but can be bad also. At the beginning of the year, futures did not go very well. So ETF will affect positively or can be bad also? |

the ETF news is already about a week old and the rise happened today. the hype of ETF has also been big a week ago so i don't think this rise has anything to do with that.
in the future if they reject it, that would be another repeat of the history and nobody would care but if they accept it then it would be the first time and it will come as a shock to the market which may lead to a big price rise.

Approval of ETF might create another huge bull run but even if won't get approved we might still see bullish market because weak hands seem to be already out of the market and its bull time. However another government strike like china ban might influence the market more than ETF. |

However another government strike like china ban might influence the market more than ETF. it is always about the timing of different news. for example the good news during the drop from $20k could never slow it down. and the same, a bad news can never slow down the rise that is shaping up now. we have reached the bottom and the trend is reversed successfully, a bad news can no longer change that unless we reach another big high resistance like $10k and then fall. |

If ETF is approved, maybe bitcoin will really sky rocket higher than $20k. Maybe because it is just my opinion, and also maybe if it is denied again there will be no way bitcoin can go up to ATH again.

ETF is a perfect recipe to start a bullish trend and hopefully it will be approved. If it will not be approved for sure there will be a big dump that will happen and we will expect a down trend chart again. |

I think the outcome will be positive from the SEC. If I'm not wrong, another countries may be willing to approve ETF's and there are forces that are pushing in order to the USA not be let behind in the disruptive innovation the cryptocurrencies suppose.
Let's hope for the best!!!

In my opinion a BTC ETF will give a lot of fundmanagers the opportunity to take up some exposure to the cryptomarket. Besides that it opens the door
to the enormous group of retail investors in the stockmarket, a lot of people are still somewhat scared or don't know how to invest in the cryptomarket.
The BTC ETF will give those people the needed tool to take their first steps in crypto. Concluding the BTC price and cryptomarket as a whole will benefit
if the ETF will be approved.

This got hyped for the rest of the weeks and more expectations are there for the positive and approval of it on August 10. I have read that there's also a possibility that it can be delayed and it can turn up to September and if that's possible the hype will open the market to start into bullish. Majority is aware of ETF application for this year but you can't stay calm as it was rejected a year ago.

ETF news has been around for a while now. it started back in March with Coinbase. and the peak of it was in last week of June as CBOE proposal for a new ETF was presented to SEC and SEC was seeking comments on it.. if you take a look at 10 days ago topics on the forum you can see it was filled with topics talking about the big rise that was about to happen back then but never did. what i am trying to come down to is that this rise has nothing to do with ETF. maybe now that price has gone up above $7k and the news sites are hyping it again with somewhat of super positive attitude, it can start causing a rise from now on but so far it wasn't. so if it is accepted we can see a huge jump because it will be surprising and unexpected. but if it is rejected the negative effects shouldn't be that hard. |

By the time the ETF is operational people will start to look at other events that could trigger the next bull run. It's impossible to satisfy people here -- last year's bull run hit them so hard, that they don't know anything other than the market to keep going up. The far majority of the newbies have joined because of the bull run last year, and now they keep expecting bull run after bull run to take place, but that's of course not how the market works. People who bought near last year's peak did so because they thought the price would go straight to $50-$100,000. There just isn't any explanation for such reckless behavior....

I am excited to see how things are going to work out here. In both scenarios, if ETF gets approved or rejected. |

Well, ETF approvement for me will announce new phase in bitcoins story, as everybody will be able to invest directly in the underlaying asset, bitcoin, without even knowing how to handle it and store it. People will easily switch their pension or saving money to etf. So i think etf pumps are real, as it is pretty big news |

Well, ETF approvement for me will announce new phase in bitcoins story, as everybody will be able to invest directly in the underlaying asset, bitcoin, without even knowing how to handle it and store it. People will easily switch their pension or saving money to etf. So i think etf pumps are real, as it is pretty big news Oh, ETF pumps are definitely real. Not only would there be a pump from the hype of an ETF Being approved, there would also be a pump from institutional money fomoing in on Bitcoin through that ETF. This would be a bubble like we have never seen before. One of epic proportions  Its funny though, as you said, an ETF will give people who don't know how to store Bitcoin a way to store Bitcoin easy... Through trusted third parties. Ya know, the exact opposite of what Bitcoin is about. This isn't a problem I suppose, as long as the third party has very robust security. I think the big deal with Bitcoin isn't that it cuts out third parties, I think its a Big deal because it makes third parties optional and redundant. |

But I don't plan to do anything, because it's still risky to make any bets, I prefer just hodl till moon and beyond. I've seen a lot of drops and spikes already, and they really don't matter in the long run or even in the short run, Bitcoin just returns to its course after a few weeks.
