Hi, I'm a newbie from Russia.

Merry Christmas!

Can someone suggest some good threads about Dogecoins ? Or even shortly tell your ideas about it's growing and BTC falling?

This is the main thread of DOGE
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361813.0;topicseen

If you are going to trade DOGE or other altcoin, then will I recommend:
https://vircurex.com/

My personally ideas about growing and falling BTC rates:
I think we will see a lot big swings in 2014, but in general I believe that the rate will go up, I expect that BTC will be at $1000-2000 before the summer.
There are many factors that can have influence, in 2013 we saw that media attention had a big effect, china exchange had a big impact.
If we should see the BTC go to the $5000, then do I belive that we need to see more adaptation by merchants.

I also think that bitcoin is not mature enough for none-technical minded people.. yet. Mainly because the responsibility of securing the funds lies on the user (rather than a bank).
It is a big drawback for the community that online-wallets are so insecure, normal people are so use to homebanking with a webbrowser so the step to bitcoin is not that big, but I would not recommend anybody to use online wallets, due to the risk of theft. If a big online company (that has funding insurance, from a big insurance company) emerges, then will the possibility of mass adaptation open.
I also think that smartphone wallets, has a bit potential, Mycelium is a really good product for the masses.

I think we are over that stage where BTC will go to $0 over night, there are to many influential people involved. In my opinion (this is my personal opinion) the biggest treat to bitcoin is ghash.io (cex.io), they are one organization that have ~33% of the hashing power, Santoshi warned about exact this, if they will misuse their power then can the whole system collapse. I have nothing personally against ghash.io, but I try to support everything that is a counterweight to ghash.io, for the protection of the bitcoin. I have also move some funds into LTC (I know many will disagree with this), because scrypt mining can not go commerical anytime soon, in the same way as the bitcoin mining have, since the hardware is more complicated and expensive for scrypt, this have somewhat of a guarantee that the network stay decentralized. Some people predict if bitcoin collapse, then will all the altcoin follow. However I belive that LTC is one of the coins that will arise from the ashes, since there is a market and need for digital currency.

Marry Christmas to you too.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.
