It perform as well as a HD 5870 or HD 6950, around 380~400 kh/s. It's an affordable option if you can't afford a HD 6990, 7950, 7970, 7990 or R9 series (270x, 280x, 290 and 290x). I would get 4, if I had to use those.

Thanks, checked there already, I was looking for some opinions. (guess I should've mentioned that  Grin )

It perform as well as a HD 5870 or HD 6950, around 380~400 kh/s. It's an affordable option if you can't afford a HD 6990, 7950, 7970, 7990 or R9 series (270x, 280x, 290 and 290x). I would get 4, if I had to use those.

I was more looking to see if that price/efficacy/power costs was a decent ratio vs the R9 series and 79XX cards. For example 2x 7850 @$280 (for both) vs 1x 7970 @~$400, both around 750-850 kH/s ?
I'm assuming the two 7850s would draw more power but in the advent of scrypt ASICs in the (near) future is the cost of the R9s or 79XXs worth that extra savings in power costs?
